Welcome! I received my Ph.d. from UC Berkeley and held postdoctoral positions at Harvard and UC Berkeley before coming to RIT, where I am a faculty member in the School of Physics and Astronomy and program faculty in AST . My recent work is focused on developing techniques for precision measurements of dark matter and dark energy, and is motivated by my computational work over the past decade that has focused on simulations of interacting galaxies (both at low and high redshift). I also actively use observing facilities, including NRAO (GBT, JVLA), Las Cumbres Observatory, the VLT (and other facilities). Some of my recent work is in time-domain and multi-messenger astronomy. I am part of the LensWatch collaboration.

You can take a look at various press articles on my work, or dive right into the papers.

Aside from my research, I enjoy teaching physics and astronomy at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and communicating science to the public. I am also committed to enhancing diversity in academia. I am a member of the Committee on the Status of Women in Astronomy.
